1. What Are Cookies and Web Storage Technologies?

A cookie is a small text file containing a string of characters that is placed on your computer, smartphone, or tablet when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to recognize your browser, maintain session state, secure forms against automated spam, and remember your visual display preferences over time.

In addition to HTTP cookies, modern web applications may use browser Web Storage mechanisms (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) and small image beacons. These technologies function similarly to cookies by storing small amounts of data locally on your device to ensure fast page loads and smooth user interactions.

First-party cookies are set directly by RealWebArts (our domain). Third-party cookies are set by external partner services operating on our behalf (such as Google Analytics for aggregated traffic telemetry).

2. Our Privacy-Centric Cookie Philosophy

RealWebArts maintains a strict, minimalist approach to web telemetry. We believe the modern web should be fast, elegant, and respectful of personal privacy.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your web browsing history. We do NOT deploy invasive cross-site advertising networks (such as Meta Pixel or TikTok tracking), and we do NOT participate in automated data broker syndicates.

We utilize cookies and local storage solely for essential website security, remembering your UI preferences (like reduced motion or consent flags), and understanding high-level traffic trends to improve our technical articles and service documentation.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Analytics Services

We work with a select few enterprise technology providers to maintain performance, security, and global delivery:

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)

We use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to analyze how visitors engage with our technical case studies and portfolio. GA4 uses client identifiers (_ga) that expire after 2 years. We have configured GA4 with IP anonymization enabled by default, disabled Google Signals advertising features, and disabled cross-device advertising personalization.

Web3Forms & Communication APIs

When you submit an inquiry through our contact or quote forms, form verification is processed securely via Web3Forms. No advertising cookies are deposited during this process; only temporary anti-spam honeypot tokens are verified.

Google Fonts (Self-Hosted & CDN Preload)

Typography assets are pre-connected and cached efficiently. Google Fonts does not set or track cookies on RealWebArts visitors.

6. How You Can Control, Block and Delete Cookies

You have full autonomy to inspect, control, block, or delete cookies at any time. You can adjust your browser settings to decline all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent.

Browser-Specific Controls

Every modern web browser provides granular controls over cookie storage. Follow the official guides below for your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Third-party cookies (or chrome://settings/cookies).
  • Apple Safari (macOS/iOS): Preferences/Settings → Safari → Advanced → Privacy → Block All Cookies / Manage Website Data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection / Cookies and Site Data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on

If you wish to prevent Google Analytics from collecting any telemetry across any website you visit, Google provides an official opt-out browser extension available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Do Not Track (DNT)

RealWebArts honors automated Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and Do Not Track (DNT) browser headers. When our platform detects an active GPC or DNT signal from your browser, optional analytical telemetry is automatically suppressed.

Effect of Disabling Cookies
Disabling strictly necessary cookies in your browser may impair form submission validation or theme persistence, but all core portfolio case studies, technical articles, and service documentation will remain fully readable.

8. Policy Updates & Data Protection Inquiries

We periodically review this Cookie Policy to reflect technical upgrades, new browser standards, or regulatory amendments. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.
